AG Rigging and Steel offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our capabilities include full fabrication drawings and 3D models, structural steel fabrication, advanced painting and blasting, and comprehensive transportation. We have a state-of-the-art workshop, a team of skilled tradesmen and apprentices, and a modern fleet of trucks. Our on-site specialist teams ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution from tendering to erection. Whether it’s standard single coat primers or complex multi-layer systems, we deliver high-quality results that meet Australian standards.
Shop Drawings & Detailing
AG Rigging & Steel has the ability to provide full fabrication drawings and 3D models using our suite of drafting programs – Tekla and Bocad. The majority of our drafting is done in-house and supported by a further two full-time sub-contracted drafting companies to expedite work. This process greatly benefits our clients, providing quick response times to any requirement.
Steel Processing & Fabrication
Our facility has a modern, well-equipped workshop with state-of-the-art machinery capable of handling all structural steel fabrication processes. Our fleet includes a PeditBott 1100 – the first in the Southern Hemisphere, a Motofil DRAGOm CNC Plasma, and an Ocean Challenger Robotic Welder. We have a team of full-time qualified and experienced tradesmen and apprentices, competent with full weld procedures in accordance with AS1554.1.
Our company provides structural steel for a diverse range of construction projects, ranging from 5 tons to 1500 tons.
Surface Treatment – Paint & Galvanising
Our paint facility has a well-equipped workshop with an A.B.S.S Blastech Model 4 Automatic Blast Line. We also have a manual blast booth and a large spray booth. We have the capacity to deliver standard single coat primer up to multi-layer 3 Pac systems. We outsource our galvanizing to reliable partners that meet our requirements and Australian standards.
Transport
AG Rigging & Steel has a comprehensive fleet of trucks, including extendable and drop deck trailers.
Site Erection
We have experienced specialist on-site teams whom we involve throughout the tendering and fabrication process to expedite our erection work in the most effective and cost-efficient manner possible.
